Business Requirement
CDIS wanted to extend their hybrid mail service in order to offer more flexible and tailored solutions to their customers. To do this they needed to find a technology partner who could rapidly and proactively develop bespoke document capture solutions to meet client requirements. Specific initial requirements included the need to offer ‘lights out’ document capture for clients with automated systems and to have client-side intelligence controlling which documents are sent for central production.
The Isopyre Solution
Isopyre delivered isoPost, their desktop mail capture solution, into CDIS. This gives CDIS the tools to deliver highly tailored solutions for electronic capture of their clients’ desktop and system generated letters.
Bespoke Implementation Projects
Isopyre has supported CDIS on a number of client projects to deliver tailored document capture solutions.
A client was producing thousands of documents per day using their local post room for fulfilment and postage. Due to their fulfilment requirements, a small subset of these documents was not suitable for production in a bulk mail facility. Isopyre wrote a bespoke module which would automatically identify document content and determine whether to process the document locally or route it through to the CDIS production facility. This enabled the customer to reduce costs associated with the majority of their documents, whilst retaining internal ownership of these specific items.
A customer is producing letters which require additional printed enclosures to be added, these enclosures are stored in their in-house EDM system. Isopyre wrote a custom process to read the document content, securely connect to the EDM system and attach the relevant enclosures. All this occurs at the client site resulting in a fully composed pack ready for electronic delivery to the CDIS production facility.
